Woolworths Net Set GO!

Woolworths NetSetGO is a fun and safe introduction to netball and is the best way for girls and boys aged 5 to 10 to have fun with their friends, keep active and learn the basic skills of netball in a safe and social environment.

We offer an introductory NET program aimed at 5/6 year olds called Liberty Legends.

This program runs alongside our club training on Monday afternoons, run by our local community coach, Paul, from Sport For Life.

SET is the first level of introductory netball where players will train and also play a modified version of netball at the Success Netball Association. This competition is for children born either in 2017 or 2016 with exemptions required for those born in 2018..

- The SET fees for Liberty are $98 and registrations are though PLAY HQ.

- Discounts are offered for families, please email libertynetball@outlook.com for a sibling discount code.

- Total fees for SET inclusive of Liberty, Netball WA, SNA and Netball Australia are $225.

- SET games are played on Saturday mornings for ages 7-8 either at 8:20am,10:00am or 11:30am TBA

- Training for SET is on Monday afternoons at the Success Sporting Facility with times TBA.

- Players can opt to be in a team with friends and the emphasis is on fun and participation.

- There are no finals in SET and all participants will receive a memento at the end of year wind up from SNA.

- All of our SET teams at Liberty Netball Club are coached by accredited coaches who are required to hold a current WWCC .

- All SET umpires are required to be over the age of 18 OR must hold a current C badge qualification. This is to ensure the players are given the best beginning for their netball development and enjoyment.

- All registered NET SET GO participants will receive a Woolworths Participation Pack. More information below.

NET SET GO AT LIBERTY

Our Net Set Go program at Liberty is all about fun, friends and development. The emphasis of this program is on participation and building the foundations of netball skills in a supportive, relaxed and positive environment. Our Net Set Go girls have exclusive access to purchase a special club glitter varsity jacket which they wear with great pride.

Our values align with the Net Set Go partnership through The Confident Girls Foundation where we are passionate about creating a strong foundation for all of our girls to feel confident, safe, valued and heard, giving them leadership skills and nurturing the importance of resilience, friendship and fitness for their futures.

Our NSG coaches are supported and given

resources and club supported upskilling to assist in the implementation of the programs. Our NSG coaches are expected to have a minimum Foundation Coaching Accreditation. Currently we have NSG coaches who are Development Accredited and who are very passionate about ensuring this program sets the Liberty girls up for a positive netball experience as well as fostering their growth as people.
